The Adventures of Mr. Chip and Friends

It seems like feast or famine on this blog - I sometimes go 3 weeks without posting anything new, and then this is my third freebie this week! If you're looking for the STS Road Trip freebie, scroll down! And if you keep scrolling, I made a Halloween mini this week as well! Please snag everything and enjoy! I would love to see any LO's you make with my creations! Email me at callalunacreations@mail.com. I'd also love it if you were to follow my blog! You can be updated via email every time I post a new freebie! Just pop your email into that box to your left that says, "Follow By Email."

This kit started as just a random project I was working on, but when the color palette for the STS October Color Challenge was released I knew it was meant to go with this idea! So I recolored some things I'd already made, and then I added some elements, and some more elements, and an alpha, and a few more elements... before I knew it, I had a full size kit! I am excited to share this with you all, I hope you guys enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it!

Here's a LO I made with The Adventures of Mr. Chip and Friends. Its only fitting that it features my daughter Luna, as she was the one that inspired this project AND named Mr. Chip (pretty clever for a 2 year old!).

Here's the kit preview:

This kit is huge, and the glitters made it an extremely huge file. I was forced to break it into three parts to keep it at reasonable download size. Please, please, PLEASE grab all three parts! I always get more downloads of one part than another when I split things up.

Part 1 (elements and alpha) is HERE!
Part 2 (papers) is HERE!
Part 3 (more papers) is HERE!

Thanks for stopping by, leave some love if you have a moment! EDIT (November 6, 2012): I had a thought. HERE IS A TIP when using this kit: the pieces, especially the hats, are designed specifically to fit on the potato. So if you need to resize items for your page, dress the potato FIRST, and then resize as a whole, or you will drive yourself nuts trying to get the hat to the right size!

  3. Absolutely one of my favs - so creative! TIP: If you ever get a chance to go to Disney's California Adventure, they sell the toy with Disney themed parts - all you can fit in a box for $20. Don't buy the body there though, wait to get that for $5. over the holiday season and just fill the box with Disney body parts because there are so many to choose from.

    1. Thanks for the great tip, but since we live in Belgium, I don't see us making it there anytime soon! :) Trips to the states are usually limited to the East Coast, since my family is in Maine. I'm glad you like this, and I'd love to see any LO's you make with it!

  9. Oooh yay, Rosemary! Glad to have inspired you! I got the ones Luna is playing with in the pictures at Family Dollar for $2.99 each while I was home visiting in the states. But they have some crazy fancy ones these days - we were looking at a toy catalog the other day and found a CAR for Mr. Potato Head! Posh!

  10. I ask my son if Selene had one. He said that they had been looking at them and I told him not to look any longer and not to buy one! I'll check Family Dollar. Thanks for the tip.
