I am going to keep this short and sweet, because in approximately 12 hours, I am leaving for 2 months with my family in America! I need to finish packing and get some sleep. All together, its about a 20 hour trip (door to door) and I travel by myself with my 4 year old! Fun!

Charity Collab: Stand By Me

I participated in a charity collab recently, and completely forgot to post about it! The kit is to benefit the designer QueenWild and her family following a terrible accident her husband was in. Here is the story:

On Wednesday October 23rd, John was working in Banff. He was up in the bucket, working with streat lights and received an electric shock. He was taken to the hospital via STARS air ambulance. He was put into a medically induced coma for 24 hours as he had been without oxygen for 5-15 minutes and the hypothermic state was to help minimize the possible brain damage.  He is expected to make a full recovery and is out of the hospital and back home with his family at this time.

We came together as designers here and from some other stores to show our support for Lahni and John by making this kit to help raise some money for their lodging and food while John was in the hospital and to help with donations to STARS - the air ambulance that most probably saved John's life.

I am so proud to be part of the amazing benefit collab organized by MollyScraps! There are some fabulous designers involved in this collab!

On April 10, 2013 a horrific case of animal abuse was uncovered in Madison County, Indiana.

Over 150 dead farm animals…

About 100 survivors…
